Biography
Pam has been the Associate Executive Director of Pre-award in the Office for Clinical Research since 2007. She leads a team of 26 who are responsible for developing the Prospective Reimbursement Analysis for all clinical research studies with EHC billable items and services to ensure research billing compliance, and developing and negotiating budgets to cover research study costs. She previously worked as a clinical research nurse, management consultant, human resources coordinator, and pediatric nurse.
Pam is an RN, with a BS in Nursing from the University of Virginia, MBA from the University of Georgia, and Juris Master from Emory University. She has the Certification in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) and Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) from the Healthcare Compliance Association (HCCA).

Biography
Amanda is a Clinical Research Finance Supervisor. She has been with the Office of Clinical Research since the end of 2017, where she is responsible for budget development and negotiation for industry and other non-federal studies. Prior to this position, she lead the Lymphoma Clinical Research Coordinators at Emory's Winship Cancer Institute for eight years.Amanda's Her education was obtained from SUNY Buffalo State College in biology and journalism.

Biography
Ngozi "NG" Okafor-Bovell joined the Office for Clinical Research (OCR) in September 2019 as a Clinical Research Finance Manager, Lead. Prior to joining OCR, NG worked at Emory University School of Medicine as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Post-Doctoral Fellow with the Departments of Endocrinology and Cardiology. NG's main area of focus were Type 2 Diabetes and Heart Failure. NG graduated with her Doctorate degree in Public Health from the University of Texas, Health Science Center at Houston, her Master's degree in Public Health from Emory University Rollins School of Public Health and a Bachelor's degree is in Pharmacy.

Biography
Sabrina is a Supervisor, Clinical Research Finance in the Office for Clinical Research and is responsible for Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA) for all studies with Emory Healthcare and/or Grady billable items and services. She is also responsible for budget development and negotiation for all industry and non-federal studies. Prior to joining Emory, Sabrina worked for the Kaiser Permanente as a research nurse coordinator.
Sabrina has served at different levels throughout her career as a staff nurse, charge nurse, resource nurse, rapid response nurse, nurse preceptor, EPIC super user, and clinical research nurse/coordinator. She has a very diverse background, having worked in many areas such as Medical–Surgical (Pulmonary and GI), Acute Care, Cardiac Intensive Care, Pediatric Intensive Care, and Clinical Research. Sabrina holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing and Masters of Science Degree in Nursing Leadership and Informatics. Sabrina is a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia, and has a Informatics Nurse Certification (RN-BC), Critical Care Nursing Certification (CCRN), and Pediatric Nurse Certification (CPN).

Biography
Nuzhat received her MBBS degree from Pakistan, and then graduated from Master of Public Health (MPH) program at Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. Nuzhat came to Emory University from Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she served as an IRB administrator for the Office of Human Research Protection Program (HRPP).

Biography
Sunita Badlani is the Lead Clinical Research Finance Manager with Pre-Award Team at OCR. She is responsible for developing Prospective reimbursement Analysis (PRA), negotiating and finalizing budgets. In this role, she applies the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid National Coverage Determination (NCD) 310.1 and Local coverage analysis rules for variety of protocols.
Sunita has been with Emory since 2008. Before coming to OCR, she worked as a Sr. Clinical Trials Monitor with the data and Safety Monitoring Committee of the Winship Cancer Institute for nearly 5 years. She also has experience as clinical research coordinator and Post Award Clinical Research Finance manager within Emory. In those capacities Sunita collaborated with numerous departments across Emory University and Emory Healthcare managing various aspects of Clinical Research including research billing. She was the Chair of Protocol Advisory Team that serves as a resource to Winship Investigators in writing Investigator initiated trial protocols. Sunita holds a BS in Biology from India and a MD degree from Ukraine. She is a Certified Clinical research Coordinator (CCRC) by ACRP and Certified clinical research professional (CCRP) with SOCRA.

Cathy joined the Office for Clinical Research (OCR) in February 2008 as a Clinical Research Finance Manager, Lead. Prior to joining OCR, Cathy worked at Emory University Hospital initially as a RN and then as a Physician Assistant. Cathy's main areas of focus were Women's Health, Clinical Research, and Infectious Diseases. Cathy graduated from the Emory School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program

Teresa joined the Office for Clinical Research (OCR) in May 2022 as a Lead Clinical Research Finance Manager. She has had over 30 years of clinical nursing experience. She worked as The Chief Quality Officer and Clinical Director for Appalachian Mountain Community Health Centers in Asheville, NC. Teresa's main areas of focus were Quality, Primary Care, Home Health, Care Management, and Cardiology. Teresa graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BSN in Nursing

Biography
Robin is a Lead Clinical Research Finance Manager (LCRFM) for the Office of Clinical Research (OCR) Pre-Award team. She is responsible for the Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA), budget development and negotiation for all industry and other non-federal studies. Robin is a Licensed Registered Nurse who before joining OCR, Robin worked in the healthcare field as an RN in pediatrics, adults and behavioral health. She also has many years behind her as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator.
Outside of work, Robin owns a skateboard shop. When she is not working or at the skateboard shop she enjoys spending time with family or being creative with her hobbies which include scrap booking and making jewelry.

Marinda Giles is a Lead Clinical Research Finance Manager. Her responsibilities include Prospective Reimbursement Analysis (PRA) for all studies with EHC and/or Grady billable items and services as well as budget development and negotiation for all industry and other non-federal studies with negotiable study budgets. She joins Emory after working as a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Registered Nurse at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Other areas of nursing include adult cardiac step-down and neonatal intensive care. She holds a Bachelor of Nursing and is certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology (CPHON).

Kimmie is a Clinical Research Finance Manager, Lead- Pre-Award. She has been with the Office of Clinical Research since the beginning of September 2022, where she was responsible for development of PRAs, budgets and negotiation for industry and other non-federal studies. Prior to this position, she was a Clinical Research Associate. She obtained my Bachelors degree from Georgia State University in Sociology. She has held various research coordinating positions in Rollins School of Public Health, Emergency Medicine, CardioThoracic Surgery and Cardiology for Emory University since 2009. Her favorite thing to do is travel.

Sally is a Clinical Research Finance Manager Lead in the Office for Clinical Research. She completes Coverage Analyses and develops and negotiates budgets for clinical research studies on behalf of Emory University and Emory Healthcare. Before joining the team in OCR, she managed regulatory and compliance for Emory University's Vascular Surgery Research. Sally is a Registered Nurse and is certified in Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC)®.

Biography
Shannon joined the Office for Clinical Research (OCR) in June 2011 as a Clinical Research Finance Manager, Lead. Prior to joining OCR, Shannon worked at Emory University Hospital as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Prior to coming to Emory, Shannon worked in multiple Institutions in critical care and case management.
Shannon is an RN with licensure in both Tennessee and Georgia. She has a BSN from Louisiana State University and is certified in both Healthcare Research Compliance (CHRC) and Clinical Research (CCRC). Shannon also has a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from the University of New Orleans.

Ki-Ling joined Office for Clinical Research (OCR) Pre-Award team in September 2017 as a Lead Clinical Research Finance Manager. Prior to OCR, she has worked as a Senior Regulatory Specialist in the Winship Clinical Trials Office. Before she started at Emory in July 2014, she worked as an Oncology Research Regulatory Specialist at Northeast Georgia Medical Center and as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Northeast Georgia Heart Center. She also worked at two pharmaceutical companies as a Research Scientist. Ki-Ling holds both a BS and Ph.D. in Biology.

Biography
Marsha Williams joined the Office for Clinical Research as a Senior CRFM in 2021. Prior to joining OCR, she worked as a Clinical Trials Regulatory Specialist in Winship Clinical Trails. Marsha has also worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Saint Joseph Hospital Research Institute and as a Global In-house Clinical Research Associate and Data Coordinator for two clinical research organizations. Marsha holds a B.S. in Community Health Education from Clark Atlanta University, and a M.S. in Clinical Research Administration from Walden University.
